| Greyhounds
Does anyone else here go all mushy-hearted when they see greyhounds? Anyone here have a greyhound?
I absolutely love these dogs and one day if I'm ever able to have a dog, I will adopt a retired racer or two through a rescue program.

| My best friend adopted two greyhounds a year or so ago, and they are awesome animals! They are known as the world's fastest couch potatoes, and it's true!  She's perhaps thinking of getting another one. She found them through www.gracanada.com. The one she's looking at is called Rancho Day Breez. | |

| Awwwwww!!!! I would love to have a greyhound!!!! Not sure what the cats would think, though
When I lived in Dingle, my boss's father had three greyhounds - he used to take them for rides in the car

| Bridget, I was actually looking at getting a Greyhound when I was looking at getting another dog but Dave doesn't care for them.  I think they are gentle, loving, souls and it breaks my heart everytime I hear how so many of them are farmed out after their racing careers are over. Really nice they use these beautiful animals for greed and entertainment. | |

| Denise, why doesn't he care for them? I think they are too skinny for some people's tastes. Megan, what is your greyhound's name? What colour is she?
The sad reality is that I'll prolly never be able to have a dog - wouldn't have a place big enough with a yard. But it's a nice dream

Bridget,,,I LOVE greyhounds, and before we got Sasha I looked into adopting one but they wont adopt out retired racers to people with kids so I will have to wait until the kids are grown | |
