Completely new to this and never joined a forum before. Hello everyone........
I'm Married and I live in the Midlands, in cold and wet UK. Had all of 4 weeks summer this year lol
I have adopted a Persian cat from the Blue Cross and she is 12 years old - she is called Yasmin and was very badly neglected. She was originally dumped by her owner and when found actually still had the brush and other things found embedded into her fur. She had to be totally shaved, poor thing. No one seemed to want to take her in due to her age so thankfully I found her and she now has a wonderful home to end her days. She is totally spoilt already and settling down. I came across this forum because I was searching for advice and was really impressed with the advice and friendliness of the site. Hopefully I have attached some pictures successfully of my little fur ball to share with you and if anyone has any knowledge of Persians I would be very grateful of any advice.
Thank you all for a lovely welcome hello . Hopefully this time my reply will work as it went belly up earlier. Yasmin has been poorly today as she is still being weaned on a tiny bit of meat per day and she had a little too much last night.... my fault I thought she could have another spoonful. She has been in the shelter too long you see due to her condition (and not being able to home her) she is too used to dried food. I have some more pics and when i have shrunk them I will post some more..... thanks for sharing
Welcome welcome welcome, Yes I too join the Yasmine fan club, she is a beauty.
There is nothing that warms the heart more than hearing a story like hers.
She must think she is in heaven already.
I do hope you get some time with her before she crosses the bridge.
You deserve that for making the end of her road the best.
