Question What are the common health issues with hedgehogs

Are there any common health problems that could be encountered by someone taking on a hedgehog?

How are such health problems treated?

Most of the minor ailments are skin-related. Dry skin can be remedied by a bath in Aveeno Oatmeal bath (powder), or even some oats added to water. If they have mites, a trip to the vet is in order and the remedy is usually not that expensive at all.

Major ailments include cancer and wobbly hedgehog syndrome (kinda like a hedgie MS). Treatment for those can be pricey.
