Crying Adivice please

Last night one of our Hamsters had an accident. Our dog batted it's ball a crossed the floor. He was thrashing around. I thought he might of broken hes back so I called the emergence vet line and paged to vet on call. While waiting for her to call back he got walking and crawled up one of the bubble tubes. I explained what had happened to the vet and she said, to keep him on a level and a small space make sure he had food and water and keep an eye on him. Then keep an eye on him if he wasn't better in a few days or got worst take him to the vet.
I was watching him last night and he's walking but it's like hes dizzy. And keeps tipping over. What could be wrong? I can't take him to the vet till Monday or even call to make an appt.
Please help!

Sounds almost like an inner ear or neurological problem but I really can't be sure. You said you spoke with an emergency vet. Can't you get her to see him this weekend?

It was the vet on call, not on duty. I don't know how they work it but it was a different vet clinic than we usually go to. I prefer to take to someone I know and trust not just anyone. But it seems to be doing a lot better now so we'll just take it one day at a time.
