While I do not own a Ferret yet, I see a lot of Ferret owners whom feed Cat food to them.

Do you think this is a healthy and safe thing to do, or would you suggest feeding them something else instead?

I have considered getting a Ferret for a long time, but i'm trying to find out everything I can in advance first.

A high quality ferret food is always best but if you can't find one near you you'll need to use high quality cat foods (or order online). Here's some ferret feeding information:
