Ferret stuck in a vent!!!! HELP!!!!

My boyfriends(Aaron) ferret(Noodles) got stuck in a vent. He's been stuck for 4 1/2 hours. He doesn't know how to get him out. Aarons worried sick, he doesn't think Noodles can find his way out. He can't see Noodles, so he doesn't know if he's stuck or what. He can hear him moving though. What should he do? Please reply, were worried sick about poor Noodles.

Try luring him out with treats if he hasn't tried that already. Good luck! I hope Noodles is ok.

What about animal control? Or even a Wildlife Removal company.. they probably get calls about animals stuck in vents & fireplaces all the time.. they may have a suggestion for you.

Does his ferret respond to a squeaky toy? Toffee will come to a toy that is squeaked, they are very curious about that particular sound.
We have her trained to respond to it by giving her ferretone when she comes to it just in case we ever need her to respond in an emergency such as yours. I would give it a try and see if he will come out.
Good luck!

most ferrets will usually come to treats being shaken or a toy or something like was already stated,,,,,,,my Squeagie is deaf ,,,I tried to train him to come to a flashlight, which can be done but he wasnt having any of it,,,,,

Good luck and hopefully you found a way to get the fuzzy out

poor ferret (and owners). Our ferret went into the area behind the dishwasher once, he was in there for over an our, and we weren't sure if he was stuck. we opened a can of salmon, because it smells so strong, and he was out within 5 mins. after that.
I hope they got this guy out.
