Question What might cause a cat to go off it's food

If a cat is usually a healthy eater and it suddenly stops eating, what should you do?

After 17+ years of breeding I have found 9 out of 10 times if a cat goes off food he/she is constipated. There are animal-lax on the market or just a little vaseline will do. We mix some marmite in for the taste and marmite is made of yeast with plenty vitB. which gives appetite.
