Crying Boy cat -neutered and litter Trained, but spraying now

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum, so please bear with me. I have an 11 year old Cat, Jasmine, 2 year old dog named Madison (100 lbs), and my boy cat -4 year old Winston. Winston is who I'm emailing about. He is declawed, unlike Jasmine, and he's basically getting it from both the female cat and the dog. He's easily intimidated and very shy. He also is super small because he was the runt of his litter. He's been spraying here and there over the past year. It was, at first, only in my laundry basket and then I locked that away so he couldn't get to it. Now, if we (my husband) leave a pile of clothes anywhere, he'll pee there. We have spare bags near his litter box inside and outside (on our screened porch) and he's peed on both of those. He DOES use his litter box, so it's not that he's not using it. He recently had his teeth cleaned and they ran a bunch of pre-screening tests which all seemed to come out great - meaning, this isn't a medical issue - it's as I suspect behavioral.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do? I have already put a gate up so that the dog cannot regularly get to the cat. The dog stays in our bedroom all night so that the cats have full freedom to the rest of the house during that time. During the day, I'm not there and I can only imagine how uncomfortable this must be for Winston. No one's there to correct the dog if she runs after him. She does not want to eat him, she just thinks its fun to run after him, sniff him, etc... she's 100 lbs and he's like 9 lbs so he's scared to death.

Please help with any suggestions you can give. Much appreciated.
Linda
