White Tree Frog

Hi everyone,

Suzoo, I just bought a White Tree Frog ...I know I'm turning into a frogger person...I did not intend to buy him or her but on friday I went to the petshop after work. My friend works there and said that they recieved 6 tree frogs ..you want a peek ..that means you'll go home with at least one ... ...and I did. So that makes 5

Very Happy

Hi Sue,

My 4 year old neice decided to call the white tree frog Earl Icky after the show My Name is Earl....I took out Earl Icky to show her and he jumped from my hand onto my computer desk....I never saw a small child run so fast in my life.....lol.....she kept on asking if it was in its cage....I guess she is not a nature nut like her auntie..hehehh...I guess i'll just have to expose her to nature and keep the Barbie and the princess concepts at bay...its going to be hard since she is a real girly girl...she loves dresses and I don't....i'm a tom boy at hart.....as a child I was up north every weekend collecting bugs, frogs and snakes(letting them go the same day). I think nature is in my blood...hehehh.

You might be lucky there! Virginia brought frog eggs she found in a mud puddle and actually hatched them in the fish tank (that sadly never kept a fish more than a few days). It did well with frogs, though. The day they became real frogs- and happened to be tree frogs that climbed glass very well- they hopped out all over the house and we couldn't catch a single one of them. Booger might have, though. Ginia was about 8 then. That was nearing the end of a long line if 'found' pets that included earthworms, locusts, spider, snapping turtles, a baby opossum, a couple denested birds, and much much more. Soon after that we got Sirius and she finally stopped bringing all of nature indoors.

Hi Jenna,

I'm glad to know I was not the only 8 year old girl who brought home found pets...hehhe....i'm trying to teach Kayla about nature....she is just really scared of most of my animals except for my fish in the 55 gallon. Go figure...if they are in a cage/aquarium she feels safe...she is not a chip off the old aunties block...sad face
