Question Cage size fo syrian hamster

I'am going cage shopping this week can some tell me what size of cage would house a syrian hamster the best? Plus I've heard that certain breeds of syrian are easy to tame, is this true?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that syrian hamsters in themselves ARE a breed of hamster...the different types of syrians should only be based on colour and not breed.

As with all animals, the tameness depends on a lot of things, but mainly on your ability to spend time and interact with your animal. Syrians are certainly a very human-friendly breed of hamster, so they are relatively easy to tame.

and sophie is right- Syrian is a breed. The only difference is color and coat and pattern (and of course good or bad breeding). All Syrians are potentially as tame-

more on that in my taming article-
