| Flea Prevention? I hate using that topical flea prevention stuff on Hank, it accumulates in their organs, but nothing else seems to work. Any ideas?

| If Hank doesn't go outside often, chances are lower of her getting fleas. I think most types of flea control involves chemicals that could get into the animal's system. And things like garlic and brewer's yeast are said to help repel fleas but there's really no proof that they actually work. |

| Yes I use Advantage or Control, because going for outdoor walks everyday means Hank always gets a few fleas. I hate them because they spread tapeworm.

| Fleas spread tapeworm, they gave it to Hank last year.
Today I special ordered an herbal (citronella) flea collar & topical treatment for Hank from Petstuff on the Go, by Beaphar Nature Line. I'll let you know how it goes.

| I hope it works since Hank goes out everyday. I'm starting to worry about fleas too since there are so many dead squirrels around and the dogs keep wanting to sniff them, I don't want the fleas jumping from the squirrels to the dogs. The flea collars for dogs that I've looked at smelled so strongly of pesticide I gagged just taking the collar out of the box, but those were just generic brand, I'm still shopping around.
I can't wait for your review, neuro! |
