lol i have a feeling it will be a while before scrappy even touches foot on the ground again..she's small enough she can be pad trained in the house...but they are getting ready to move out into the country where they will be the only ones on the road for about a half a mile...so it will be much less of an issue

still haven't heard from her...though with three kids, hubby out of town on business, and only a pick up truck for transport i imagine just going anywhere is an adventure and since there are only 3 vets in town i imagine there's a pretty decent wait

i rememer, i had a cat once, came in and she was having obvious respiratory distress, eyes bulging, panting, and yowling...she was only 2 years old and i couldn't imagine what could have happened to her...we rushed her to the vet, my dad called ahead, and we STILL waited THREE HOURS before the stinkin vet got to her!!! oooh i was so mad i could have spit...we ended up having to put her down, she was diabetic and the vet figured she had been up a tree, and had gone unconscious from bad blood sugar levels and fell out of the tree, bruising her lungs...said that it would cost an arm and a leg to get her blood sugar regulated and even then it was only a 50/50 chance she would make it...and being 17 and living on part time money from csr position at domino's pizza, there was no way i could afford it....that was over 10 years ago and it still makes me cry

vet says that he figures it is just a broken leg, since she's just a baby they will just splint it to set it....they are doing x-rays and such, keeping her overnight just to be safe, but says that the odds are very much in her favor.

my sister is very relieved and thanks everyone for their well wishes!
