seems like everthing to do with pippin is causing trouble. it was a normal saturday night around 10pm. we had let the boys out to go to the bathroom and all of a sudden i hear pippin squealing outside, thinking he had got caught in the fence or something i rushed outside, he was trying to have a bowel movement and couldnt get everthing out. his rectum was protruding and hard, i called the emergency clinic and rushed him there.
an x-ray and an hour later we discovered he had ingested wood chips and was not having a great time digesting them. k
sunday same problem except worse, luckily we were at the breeder's house ( she donned rubber gloves and lubricant and help pull everything out!!!!!
luckily for pippin, all he has is a very sore bottom and inflammed digestive tract, and in the spring all yard landscaping in the back yard is going away
just wanted to warn future puppy owners of the delicate problem of them eating EVERYTHING
