That looks incredibly painful...poor Blue. My dog has been stung a couple times
(he chases them ) but they never puff up like that.

Blue recovers well from his stings. It really doesnt seem to bother him as far as pain goes, i think its just confusing for him to have his eye swollen shut or his lips hanging to the floor. From the time ive noticed his swelling start, its usually almost 48 hours before the swelling is completely gone. Its during the first 2-3 hours that i have to keep a close eye on him to make sure he doesnt stop breathing at all. I always give him Benedryl right away to help bring the swelling down.

I'm glad I don't have the only dog who chases bees.
Zoe runs around the yard after them, stalks them, pounces and attempts to eat them.
She has been stung a few times, where she will do the same thing as Spencer. She goes and sits by herself looking very disappointed in herself and then continues on with the hunt.
Zoe also hunts flys and mosquitos. She's good to have around.

Arf2184 is on a distinguished road
I'm glad none of my pups are allergic to bee stings. Lucy, the oldest, loves to eat bees and wasps. She has taught the other two to do so as well. They get stung all the time, but apart from the few seconds after the sting, they don't seem to care at all and just go right back to snapping at the bees and trying to eat them.
