Hi everyone,
Last december I purchased a mudskipper from a new pet shop near me. Needless to say, it did not live long

. It was partly my fault, as I did not read as much info as I should have on mudskippers. Well, I was in Ottawa yesterday and found one at Big Al's

. The staff was very helpful at explaining the conditions that the mudskipper needed. First, it needs brackish water with a bit of coral to keep the ph up. Secondly, it needs a small current of moving water(internal filter can provide) and some rock that is partly exposed. Mudskippers spend a fair amount of time out of the water. I named my mudskipper Skippy II

. He also likes to stick on the glass

. Wish me luck with Skippy II .
