well, our neighbor moved out and left us their betta...i don't know if he was sick to begin with, or if the stress from changing homes did him in or what, but he never was very healthy (heck, he may have just been old!) and he eventually passed, but i had a tank all set up for him and thought, why let it go to waste? so i cleaned it out really well and set it back up and took alyssa and bought her a fish..well, bought ME a fish but i say it's hers
so, here's Swimmy (Alyssa named him :P) he is probably one of the most amazing looking fellows i've seen, and i'm a betta lover! i've seen fish with similar markings on the big time betta web sites, but never seen one quite like this one in a pet store, and there were two like him there! he had the more pastel colored body, the other one had a darker body, but both had the white ends of their fins..just gorgeous!

*edit* and getting pics of him was a trick! he kept wanting to come see what the camera was lol..so all the pics, as soon as the flash went off, he swam toward me, so most were just a blur as he turned to see me lol..and he has a wonderful bubble nest built *rolls eyes*
