| Both of my males had their breeding faces on (as i call it)...they get white tubercules (like pimples *L*) on their gills and on their pectoral fins. Only males get these
So until the newcomer is ready to breed, it will remain an unknown |

| Update:
I have another goldfish, a sort of rescue from a friend who came home to find her tank leaking badly and needed to find a new home for her goldie quick.
The little one is teaching the 2 big boys tant people arent so bad and that normally food arrives when a human comes to the tank *L*...and hiding is not necessary
I pulled down my tank 2 days ago and did a full clean on it as one filter got jammed and the water was yuck....so while it was down i changed it around a bit, less places for the Goldies to get caught if they panic.

| I should add that the heater is set quite low...around 20C....so it will usually only come on in the cooler weather |

| Sadly the goldfish have been rehomed, they had outgrown my tank
The tank is in the process of being planted with live plants, it will be a community tropical.
4ftTank8thSept07.jpg ~ this attachment is of the tank newly set up, no plants, no fish.
4ft2Oct07.jpg ~ this attachment is a more recent pic of the tank, filter now running, some fish, some plants.
More plants will be added, am awaiting arrival of new reflector that is on order.
Current fish:
3 firetail gudgeons (will not be in final tank setup, only placed to assist cycle)
1 albino cory
2 peppered cories
Future fish:
Platys
Guppies
Swordtails (though still undecided on these)
Cories
Bristlenose catfish
