but I always thought it was such a pain to have to clean the tank all the time.. I just hated sticking my hand in the yucky water.. lol..
not to mention I couldnt ever get anything to stay down.. like the fake plants.. they always floated to the top no matter how hard I tried to keep them stuck under the rocks.. lol

LOL, I've been in and out of that water so many times now it's ridiculas. So much for it being Guys tank

Must say the water is not good for my allergy, but I'll survive. The plants seem to be staying in okay. The store still hadn't receive their new shipment of plants, so I still have two fake ones in there. I did have to buy more gravel to prevent the plants from floating though.

Poor lixx... has to take pics with regular film.... I suppose I'll be lenient and accept that as an excuse for why there are no pics yet....
|
Yup, that's my excuse!! Ther ARE pics, they are just on film....soon to be developed.....

(to go wayyyy off topic, Guy is lending our camera to his parents for a MONTH while they go to Arizona. What am I going to do with out my camera?? WAAAAAAAA...I am also parinoid that something will happen to it...I love that camera.....)

Lizz, I was going to ask you if you were going to get a Pleco. Our Pleco LOVES the driftwood that is in the aquarium. You have a beautiful mix of fish. Congrats on the aquarium. Fish are addictive. |
I never know Plecos were SO active!! Guy says it's cause there's not alot of food for him yet (algae) so he has to keep moving to find it. I hope he always stays as active. I wanted to get a yellow snail too, but apparently my loaches will eat them

There was a beautiful Zebra Pleco there, but at *cough* $200, I thought I better make sure I can handle are regular one first
OO, and the addiction has already kicked in, we have a second tank I need to set up (wait, why am I setting it up??? Poke-poke Guy ZZZZZZ, ah yes, that's why!) He wants a shark, but I think it may be too small (the tank).Off to do more research!!

You sound happy with your selection, so that's good! I must admit, I have no clue about different types of fish... except tetras, and algae eaters and betas...

Aww, poor Bex, lets see.....okay, pics attached-these aren't mine, but they are similar
