Fishy Pictures

Yesterday I cleaned the fishtank and aparently I disturbed the rocks that house the 2 kuhli loaches, so today they have spent the whole day on the cave... and just a couple of minutes ago I saw theym and they looked so cute that I had to take pictures of them... so... I took the opportunity to take pics of the rest of the fish too...

First, here are the loaches on the cave... you can also see the otocinclus...

Now, this is my favorite piece of the whole tank, my piece of driftwood...

The pimodella catfish... he's blurry cause he never stops moving..

The betta...

The corydora catfish, who wasn't on picture-taking mood...

And last, but certainly not least... my Featherfin Synodontis... he was hiding in the corner but then came to chase teh pimodella away and pose for me.

He's my favorite fish, isn't he gorgeous?

I wish I could have discus... but they are too expensive for me, and I'm not really a fish expert... I'm surprised this bunch has lasted so long... most of them are going on 2 years with me

Oooh, very nice! Your betta is in with the other fishes? I have heard that they can live happily with other fishes, as long as the other ones don't have long fins.

Thanks!

Yeah, he's in with the other fish. They can live with other fish as long as they are not too brightly colored. I have had several bettas in this type of setup and they have never gone for the fins. I even risked it and had him with a dwarf gourami (not with me anymore) and they got along fine. 8)
