Aquariums Pictures...

So... today I set up the 10g for the crabs, and filled the 30g (it was just half berfore)... I also noticed that I have baby guppies! So... I took some pics of the tanks... hope you like them. 8)

THe whole 30g set-up... you can see a rock cave I made myself on the center, a piece of driftwood at wither side, and a couple of plants 8) All the plants are doing good too. 8)

Here are some of the fishies... you can see 2 neon tetras, 1 rummy-nosed tetra, 1 scissord-tail rasbora, 1 harlequin rasbora, 1 female guppy, and 1 long-finned zebra danio.

Here is the cave, you can see the tail of 1 of the kuhli loaches inside, and a ghost shrimp on the right. 8)

This is one of the fish fry... they are guppies, the mom has a yellow tail and the dad a red tail with black spots...

This is the crab set-up. I need 1 more bag of sand...

They absolutely LOVED the piece of driftwood... here is Golde hiding on it:

And here is Tevye, waving his claw at me and my camera:

I'm just so happy with these tanks, the 30g feels like a bit of river in my room, while the crab tank feels like a piece of the beach. I hope you like them as much as I do. 8)

Hi Padfoot,

I like your setups....is that a CO2 cylinder made by Hagen?...I have the same one in my discus tank but the bubbles will not go through the plastic maze. I just get one big bubble going to the top .....it was working properly last year in my smaller tank. i'm using dried yeast and not the Hagen special mixture (yeast and something else) 6 small packets for $10.

Thanks!

Yup, that's a Hagen CO2 cylinder 8) Mine is working well, the bubbles run through the maze just fine, and I moved it from place when I filled the tank. 8) I'm still using the mixture that came with the cylinder, (just 1 packet left, though) but when I run out I'll be using yeast, it's cheaper. 8) I don't know what might be wrong with yours. 8(

Hi P,

I looked at the tubing I was using and its not cut at a slant so I think there's the problem.
