A Schererville couple is getting worldwide attention for a video of their pet cockatoo, Snowball, dancing to a Backstreet Boys song.
Whenever they play the Backstreet Boys 1997 song "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)," the white-feathered bird lifts his legs and bobs his head, flashing his bright yellow crest to the beat.
The cockatoo's owners, Irena and Chuck Schulz, are waiting to hear back from "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," which called last week. Other TV programs already have featured Snowball's moves.
Snowball joined the family a couple of months ago. The man who dropped him off brought a CD and said to watch Snowball's reaction.
Irena Schulz said she almost fainted at the sight of the bird dancing to the beat.
