I asked about that also and was told no. We have a cockatiel and were interested in getting a quaker. I wanted to let them out to play at the same time and possibly keep them in the same cage because I have a large cage. I was told by several people that quakers are known for nipping off the toes of smaller less aggressive birds like cockatiels. They are very protective of their cages also. I would suggest another quaker or getting another bird in a separate cage and putting them close to each other.
