Found Macaw Ontario Canada

There was a Macaw found in Muskoka, Ontario Canada. They are not releasing what colour etc but say it is friendly and seems to prefer men. If you know of anyone looking for a lost Macaw, it has been found approx 2 hours north of Toronto and is in a wildlife rehab center. Email me for phone #

Nope, I haven't heard anything, it was in our local paper so I think if they find the owner then they would also put it in the paper. I would think that chances would be slim to find it's owner because it could have come from anywhere.

I don't know anything about them except that they are beautiful and live along time. I don't think it knew anything about flying home because it took cottagers a few weeks to finally nab it. They coaxed it into a cottage with grapes.

CJ Macaws are pretty much on their own once they get lost. They dont'have a homing instinct or anything and can fly very big distances. I wouldn't be surprised if that bird's owner was in the US or another province actually.
