Hehe, sounds like he's going through a phase Tracey. I also love African Greys, despite being terrified of birds. There was one in a pet store that I used to go to that would whistle at me and talk to me.
i have a quacker parrot named George. he is a sweetie usally. sometimes he can be a real pain in the when family come over. he will get out of his cage and fly out and land on pples heads. then if he realizes it isnt me he bited them and flys back to his cage. then he makes another trip back to find me. im the only one that can pick him up or anything. otherwise ull get a nasty bite. i love him though, and i think he loves me lol. cant always tell what lil thoughts are goin through their lil brains.
what do they do to you when they hate you??? I am also a bit timid of birds but always wanted either a grey or a Mccaw but havent been brave enough to try it,,,,
Thanks. He is all my hubby at the moment, i use to be able to go over to his cage and fetch him out but now if i go near he tells me to get lost and starts to bite. He kisses hubby, i daren't go too close to him, i'm hoping he will settle soon and we can be friends again.
