I checked out your website and loved that painting. Lovebirds are great as long as they are single birds. They'll bond really well with the owner when not distracted by their mate!! My friend adopted a single lovebird from our humane society. Paulie was quite the biter when she first adopted him...but you should see him now! He is so sweet. He gives her kisses and dances in front of a mirror.
Keiko (the yellow one) has a malformed (scissor) beak and needs to have it trimmed every 4-5 weeks. I have a vet tech friend who comes to my home and uses a Dremmel to shape and grind it down. He's such a little trooper...he hates to see her come!!

Aww...poor Keiko.
I've been looking at love birds at one of our local pet stores. They have some really unusual colors. I know that probabley isn't a good place to get one but I love looking....Hubby would choke me if I came home with one!
Also birds and sugargliders don't go well together..lol
