| I grew up in Orange County CA and lived there my whole life. When I turned 20 I moved to another county, and last year my fiance' (now husband) and I moved again trying to get away from the crowds and non-stop construction. But its still really crowded where we live now and I think Southern CA is always going to be that way, so we have decided to relocate to another state. We are looking into moving to Tucson, AZ. where we have some family. It will be a big change!!! |

| I have lived in Virginia all my life and I love it here! We are 1hr south of DC and 1 hour east of Richmond
Also, I just wanted to point out that Washington DC is not in either Md or VA...it is not a state and is a separate entity than Md and VA...it is a District (District of Columbia)...they have their own govt and laws separate from Md and VA. |

| I'm a Valley Girl to the bitter end: the San Fernando Valley. Three weeks ago, my husband (also a SoCal native) and I moved to the suburbs of Seattle.

| Texas here--went from Houston an entire hour away up to Huntsville to school (oh yeah, I'm a traveler, let me tell ya ^_^)Ghostdesire, we drove though El Paso once or twice...it was very--er--flat. And brown. And I then figured out where to aim the people who think that all of Texas is dust, tumbleweeds, and everyone rides horses to school or work and wears cowboy boots and cowboy hats and... ^_^
I was in shock when my brother in law from California told us that someone told him that "Dallas is this huge metropolitan city and Houston is this tiny little hick town". People need to bone up on their geography--4th largest city in the US, anyone?

It looks like I'm not moving out of state and will be staying here, at least for awhile. |
