| Weekend Whereabout -June 9-10/07 How's everyone's weekend going?
Now that hockey is finished, I'm bored. Nothing good on TV either. At least that is forcing me to get outside & be more active.
I had to work on Saturday until 5pm.. then came home to empty cupboards so I went to get groceries. Took the dogs for a long walk & played with my 2 remaining foster kitties.
Today I walked the dogs.. watered 4 flower beds and I'm leaving soon with Montana to go to our Agility lesson. We are working on the weave poles.. that's the hardest obstacle the dogs will face and it sometimes takes months or maybe even a year to conquer it. I'm thinking it'll take more like years for our bunch. We only get together every 2 weeks & we don't have poles at home to practice.
I don't yet have any plans for the rest of the day but I'm sure something will come up... a bike ride with the dogs later if nothing else better comes along.

| We have a new baseball team in town. The home opener was on Friday. So we went to the game and then stuck around for the fireworks after. Yesterday, I got up early and finished my assignment. Then we went to my parents for dinner and then to the ball game. After, we had a couple friends over and a bit too much wine. Today, we are going to the last game of the home stand and then we're not sure. I do need to do some reading. |

| Friday night was a girls night home while Darren went to play some poker with friends. Saturday I cleaned the house and cages and then ran errands with Darren and Jillian.
Today my good friend from grad school and her boyfriend came to visit Jillian for the first time. It was great to see them and catch up |

| Friday night, two of my cousins graduated from high school, so we got to sit and listen to boring speeches and then cheer when each of the boys went up. Afterward we took pics and talked outside in a huge crowd of grads and family members.
Saturday, we helped my aunt and uncle look for a house online. They're moving up here from CA and came up to look at property and go to the graduation. I'm excited. Then we walked down the street to my neighbors graduation party to say hi and give him his card with money and take pics. Then we all (my family followed by aunt, uncle, and cousin from CA) drove to my cousins' grad party and spent the day there with family and strangers, ate lots of food, and took lots of pics. Then we came home and went to bed exhausted.
Yesterday, we went out and had brunch with aunt and uncle from CA. They found some property they want. No house on it, but they'll probably buy and build. After a nice meal, we said our good byes as they were going back to CA. Then I took a short nap and then went to work. Came home, watched a movie and fell asleep during an old episode of Star Trek.
Now I'm trying to catch up on stuff I didn't do over our busy weekend. Looks like I may have found homes for two chins. Woohoo! I gotta leave for work in an hour. |

| My weekend was uneventful and unproductive. I did, however, get some much needed warmer weather clothes shopping done. I bought:
-2 v-neck t-shirts embellished with lace and sequins (one bright pink, one melon)
-1 v-neck t-shirt embellished with some crocheting (brown)
-2 tank tops (one blue, one melon)
-1 pair black dress pants
-1 pair black chinos
-1 pair denim shorts

| Nice clothes, Danielle!! I did so much this weekend, I can't even begin to write it all here. Went to a ton of garage sales and got some really great furniture for my kids to take to their college rooms- some of it was at the curb marked free, but it is really nice stuff that just needs a bit of paint etc. then we went condo hunting, staining windows, helping my kids work on their garage sale projects like painting chairs, chests, and mirrors and working on a coffee table. Then on Sunday I did laundry and picked up a bonus shift at the hospital. Oh and also played some tennis and some cribbage with my hubby!
