Hey all!
As maybe some of you know, I'm doing my practice on a primate center (two weeks to go and I graduate!!! YAY!) Well, last week I took my camera, and it was a very slow day (2 of the caretakers didn't go, so there was nobody available to catch the monkeys that we needed to take blood samples from, so there was really nothing to do...). Since we were bored, decided to take pictures of the 2 orphans that are being hand-raised...
First, Marimar is around 3 months old, and she learned how to escape from the cardboard box where they put her during the day to play... this is where we found her:
The bird there fell from the nest and one of the girls is hand feeding it to release it when it's older... we still don't know what bird it is, but we keep looking at all the birds around to see if we manage to guess what it is! Anyway, the bird's face in this pic if priceless, it's like he is saying "HELP! Escaped monkey trying to eat me!!!"

Here are Marimar (lying down) and Tiffany
Another one with Tiffany looking up
Marimar escaping the box again
Me holding Marimar
Marimar "monkeying" around...
She wouldn't let go of my arm
Since she wasn't behaving, she was confined to the kennel (we had to go place some stitches on a monkey that had fought with another one and had a wound on her head)
We came back from stitching the monkey, and were bored again, so... "my boss" undressed a plush rabbit the Marimar had in her kennel, and put the clothes on Tiffany
Even a little hole for her tail!
She was not amused...
In this picture, I shot the photo at the same time one of the assistants reached to grab her and she jumped... I think it's cool!
Then, like that wasn't enough, they put a leather jacket on her!
"I'm alright as long as I can suck on my toe!"

Here I am feeding her milk (ok, she was done when the pic was taken, and she already had her toe in her mouth)
They got me unprepared for the pic...
Now I'm prepared for the pic!
That's all, I hope you enjoyed them!!!!
