| and then in the evening, a bunch or cars were driving around slowly,,one stopped , so of course nosey me goes outside to see whats going on,,,well the mother bear and her 2 cubs are laying on the lawn across the street from me, haha, then once alot of people came, she went and laid under the boat thats there
last night around 9:30 I was downstairs doing laundry, I was coming up and decided to look out the front door,,WOW theres a bear walking up our driveway,,,I run upstairs and grab Dakin since he was the only one awake,,,run to the kitchen door and WHOA,,,hes on the deck , the only thing seperating him and me was the door!!
I yelled and tapped on the door and he just looked at me, then slowly walked back down the stairs
the forestry has been called 3 times so far,,,EVERYONE is having major problems so far with these guys,,,way up country to people closer to town, the bears seem to be EVERYWHERE this year!!
my neighbor said he was going right to the forestry this morning,,they need to be trapped and relocated,,,they usually take them way way way up country...
I cant even let the kids go out and play anymore, and last night we had to set up the big flood light so we could see everything so the poor dogs could go out and pee,,, |

| I think they must have set the trap...
i just seen the big ranger truck go down and it was empty, so they must have brought the traps out, the driver was going super slow,
were going away tomorrow and we wont be back until Monday,,,they'll probably catch a few by then... |

| Yikes! I'd be worried about the kids and dogs too. It's kind of sad to see them everywhere. Means humans are invading their homes more and more

| thats what I say too Sophie,,were the ones to blame for this,,,
thankfully everyone around here knows this and chooses not to shoot them (like alot of places do),,,they just set up live traps and then they relocate the bears,,,but we have new ones every year
Ive been reading and reading and reading some more abotu them,,now I understand them a bit better, they dont seem quite as scary, i still would never trust one,,I am in awe everytime I see one though,,they are beautiful and to watch those 2 babies yesterday was amazing |
